A
series of events throughout the first week of May sponsored by
the City of Trenton and the 100th Anniversary Committee. All events
are free and open to the public. Nominal charges may be required
for certain individual activities and for food and beverages.
All events are family oriented.

decorating and parade starting at Holland Middle School on West

Trenton Marsh Walk and Paddle

Explore
the Hamilton Trenton Marsh by foot and canoe! Begin with a walk
around the marsh followed by a leisurely paddle on Spring Lake.
This is an excellent way to view the plants and wildlife in the
marsh. Canoes and lifejackets will be provided. All participants
must attend a pre-trip meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15.

"Trenton
Kids Read" Gala Library Party

A
party to celebrate the joy of reading sponsored by the Friends
of the Trenton Public Library. If you've used your library card
at least ten times between January 1 and May 1, you will be awarded
an official "Trenton Kids Read" t-shirt. The party is
also full of fun for children and their parents: entertainment,
free refreshments and activities. There will also be a free drawing
for prizes, including a color television, a bicycle and a safety
