Through Jan. 5, Robert Sakson: Alone at Last. A Trenton native all his life, Bob is one of our own. A great illustrator and watercolorist, he has been a working artist his entire life. Trenton First Fridays, 5 p.m.-9 p.m., along the South Warren Street area, rain or shine. This open house brings together city-dwellers and suburbanites in a unique combination of the visual, performing and culinary arts. Area restaurants offer a wide variety of eating experiences from simple meals to elegant dining. After dinner, enjoy smooth jazz, a spoken word reading, or just relax and spend time with friends in one of the downtown bars. Artists and antique dealers will be on hand offering something for the casual browser as well as the astute buyer. Secured parking is offered in the Trenton Commons Lot.
